The Nevada Desert Mermaids Synchronized Swim Team, a non-profit, year-round synchronized swim club, seeks support from the community and its businesses.
As a non-profit organization, we meet our operating expenses by assessing a financial obligation to the members and conducting various fund- raising events throughout the year. Our annual operating budget is approximately $125,000.
As our swimmers progress, they qualify for more high-level competitions which are held around the country, and the travel budget and expenses can increase dramatically.
Help the Desert Mermaids train, travel and continue its tradition of excellence in 2009 and beyond.

YOGOYUM will share 20% of all their profits on Tuesday September 15th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm.
YOGOYUM is a new company. They hope to help with these fundraisers now and do much more in the future as they grow.

Albertsons Community Partnership with the Desert Mermaids
As you know, we have been earning much needed funding through the Albertson Community Partners Program. We need your help to continue earning funds. You can support our daughter and her team by linking your Albertsons Card with the community partners program they offer. This does not cost you anything, but a percentage of all of your purchases go back to the Mermaids. It’s fast and easy to do.
Even if you have linked your Preferred Savings Card to our organization in the past, you need to re-link your card number in order for us to continue earning funds. Simply go to:
All you have to have is your Albertsons card number (located on the back of your card) and your home phone number. Then “Find a Partner” and type in Southern Nevada Desert Mermaids, Las Vegas or enter our organization ID# 49000121359. Check the box for The Southern Nevada Desert Mermaids and “Add Partner”. That’s all you have to do.
The next time you shop at Albertsons and they swipe your card, you will notice the Community Partners support noted on the bottom of you receipt. The Desert Mermaids will receive checks from Albertsons quarterly to support the team.
Please tell all your family and friends how to link their cards so the Desert Mermaids will earn up to 4% of their shopping dollars.
